Multigrip Blind Rivets

Multi-grip rivet, a new kind of blind surface riveting fastener, is convenient for operation, high in efficiency, and low in noise and able to reduce labor intensity. For multi-grip rivet, after riveting, the rivet core shall pull the rivet shaft into multi-grip rivet head thus to fasten two structural components to be rivet jointed, and the pressure applied to the surface of structural components can be reduced. It is mainly used for riveting various thin structural components in vehicles, ships, architecture, mechanical and electronic trades.

MultiGrip rivets serve in applications where different material thicknesses normally require several rivet sizes. This wide grip range capability so one rivet can often take the place of 2 or 3 rivets reduced rivet inventory, This means less storage space, fewer stock parts to track and order, and less chance of the wrong rivet being used for an assembly.which can result in substantial cost savings. And also offer several other advantages. The "bulbing" action of a multigrip rivet ensures complete hole fill even in oversized, irregular or misaligned holes, provides high clamp-up and high shear strength and ensures positive stem (mandrel) retention, plugging the end of the rivet body and providing a vibration and moisture resistant.

The ring style gives aesthetic appeal to the back side of the assembly. The crimp style has excellent hole-fill ability and strength, as compared to standard blind rivets and ring style multi-grip blind rivets. Both styles provide good, rattle-free joint construction, even in slightly irregular holes.

Multi-Grip rivets are valuable where components are supplied to the user with holes already punched or drilled or where the sheets to be joined are folded or curved, making it difficult to match up two holes of the correct size.
